Montreal, April 25, 2024 — Just a week ago, the highly anticipatedPalomosa back-to-school festival marked its grand debut, unveiling its rich history and distinctive character. On Friday, September 6th, and Saturday, September 7th, Parc Jean-Drapeau will transform into the ultimate destination for two days brimming with musical celebrations, featuring some twenty diverse artists spanning genres such as pop, rock, R&B, Latin, and electronic. Two Exceptional Artists Headline a Festival That Brings People Together
As summer in Montreal winds down, Palomosa ignites the spirit of back-to-school excitement, offering a platform for embracing the vibrant energy of the outdoors. This dynamic and inclusive music festival promises a diverse array of musical styles, including pop, rock, R&B, Latin, and electronic — all grooves on deck. On Friday, September 6th, Gesaffelstein, renowned as the enigmatic figure behind France's electrifying electronic scene, will take the stage, following his electrifying performance at Coachella, where he unveiled his latest dark and sensual album, Gamma. The following day, Kali Uchis, the captivating Colombian artist known for her genre-defying repertoire blending pop, rap, and R&B, will command the main stage with her infectious energy.
A Reinvented Venue at Parc Jean-Drapeau
Palomosa will transform Parc Jean-Drapeau into a one-of-a-kind venue featuring two distinct stages. The main stage, presented by Vidéotron, will captivate audiences at Espace 67, while the second stage will come to life at Jardin Le Petit Prince. Festival-goers can indulge in a diverse culinary experience, courtesy of various food trucks and bars, ensuring a complete and comfortable experience throughout the two-day event, from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. Join us for an unforgettable celebration featuring over twenty sensational artists. VIP attendees will relish the exclusive GURU TERRACE.
In a few weeks' time, Palomosa will be announcing its full program at Parc Jean-Drapeau, as well as details of a block party to kick off the festivities on Thursday, September 5.
