MEDIA KIT

“Palomosa’s lineup is a departure from the usual EDM niche that we offer on the Piknic Électronik or Igloofest stages. This new event showcases the diversity of our musical tastes and features artists who inspire us on the local and international scenes. We're thrilled to be able to present them at a festival for the first time,” says Mathieu Constance, Multicolore's Programming Director.

“Palomosa embodies our vision of a multi-genre festival, a project we've been developing for years. The excitement is palpable: this is the culmination of a process we've been refining through our (Avec) Courage events. Our interests as programmers are diverse, and this festival reflects that. We're proud to present a lineup that includes both 'new wave' artists and music legends,” adds Lucas Jacques, Multicolore's Vice-President of Music, Programming, and Concerts.

Unifying Through Eclecticism

Palomosa will be that renewed energy that drives people to make the most of the latest outdoor gatherings, and with its explosive lineup, the festival is already taking its place as one of the must-see events in Montreal!

Friday, September 6 kicks off a two-day marathon of festivities at Parc Jean-Drapeau, a vibrant and unique site promising unforgettable moments for festival-goers. On this first day, the prince of French electro's dark side, Gesaffelstein, returns with his new album GAMMA. Opium label — founded by Playboi Carti —  will be well represented by trap and rap star Destroy Lonely, who is sure to set the stage ablaze with his signature high-energy performances. Sweden’s cloud rap pioneer Yung Lean will grace the Vidéotron main stage, as will Detroit duo Snow Strippers with their supercharged electro, as well as American Yaeji’s K-pop-flavoured house music. Want some more? Fans will also enjoy California's underscores’ hyperpop, the post-punk of Montreal duo distraction4ever, and the energy of local star Andrea de Tour. And just a few steps away, the Scène du Jardin will transform into a Berliner rave, with the atypical HorsegiirL at the helm for an inevitably wild set. Alongside her, we'll be dancing to the sounds of Dutch underground mogul Young Marco, and Montreal nightlife standard-bearers Jump Source and Laurence Matte.

After a whole day of musical frenzy and a full-scale takeover of the venue, a second wave of sparkling artists will make up the program on Saturday, September 7. Colombian pop queen Kali Uchis will command the Vidéotron stage with a repertoire ranging from pop to rap to R&B. The enigmatic British acid pop artist Jai Paul will perform his first-ever set in Canada, while American art-rock artist Yves Tumor is set to make an iconic appearance. You won’t want to miss Canadian jazz ensemble BADBADNOTGOOD and American electro-clash artist The Dare, as well as Montreal’s eclectic scene represented by electro-punk duo Pelada, Delachute’s poignant compositions, and a spicy performance by Nana Zen. And to top it all off, the secondary stage, Scène du Jardin, will be taken over by SHYGIRL and guests for her legendary Club SHY party, a colourful, inclusive extravaganza reminiscent of the opulent 90s!

Parc Jean-Drapeau: Better Than Ever

Palomosa moves to Parc Jean-Drapeau with a unique, two-stage site. The main stage will presented by Vidéotron, while the second will be named the Jardin Stage. Festival-goers can enjoy a rich culinary experience with various bars and food trucks. Everything has been planned to offer complete comfort during these two days, from 2pm. to 11pm., in the company of more than twenty resonant artists. A large VIP area will also be set up next to the main stage: the GURU TERRACE.

Palomosa Thanks Its Partners!

Palomosa is excited to launch its first edition with the support of emblematic partners like Vidéotron, the presenter of the festival and main stage programming; Guru, the VIP area partner; and Solstis Hard Seltzer as sponsor.
