Yung Lean, whose real name is Jonatan Leandoer Håstad, is a Swedish rapper, singer, and producer born on July 18, 1996, in Minsk, Belarus. He grew up in Stockholm, Sweden. He is often considered a pioneer of "Cloud Rap," a subgenre of rap characterized by its atmospheric beats and introspective lyrics.

Yung Lean gained popularity in the early 2010s with tracks like "Ginseng Strip 2002" and "Kyoto." His unique style and distinctive visual aesthetic attracted attention on social media, especially on platforms such as Tumblr and YouTube.
